The Haunted Hamburger is a family owned restaurant that opened up May 3, 1994. We offer delicious burgers and sandwiches on freshly made buns, as well as a variety of other dishes. Our topping bar has been one of our signature elements since we first opened. Burger customization is in full effect in our fun and friendly establishment. We do advise that you save room for our desserts which are all homemade in house, and sinfully decadent!
The building dates back to 1908 where it was originally constructed as the Wykoff Apartments. These apartments actually served as boarding for the Miners. Three men would share one room and they would rotate their 8 hour shifts. In the 1970’s the building was converted into a restaurant. The restaurant former to us was the Jerome Palace, which is where we get our local name!
Now to answer the most popular question we hear, “Is the building really haunted?” According to TAZPRS (The Arizona Paranormal Research Society) we are! So come on in and enjoy a refreshing margarita, juicy burger, and friendly company, dead and undead.
